Montavious' double-double lands him Liga MB Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

35-year old American center Marc Montavious (202-C-1990) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked A.Lobos BKB and receives a Hoops Agents Liga MB Player of the Week award for round 12.
He had a double-double of 28 points and 16 rebounds, while his team beat Santa Tecla (#6, 5-5) 77-69. A.Lobos is placed at 2nd position in Salvadorean Liga MB. They are still close to the very top. A.Lobos would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 8-1 record. Montavious turned to be A.Lobos' top player in his first season with the team. Georgetown College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Montavious is in league's top in rebounds (8th best: 11.0rpg) and averages solid 1.1bpg and 55.8% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Kordell Brown (203-F, agency: Fully Feared Sports) of Ahuachapan BC. He is American forward in his first season at Ahuachapan. In the last game Brown recorded an impressive double-double of 18 points and 21 rebounds. It was enough for Ahuachapan to edge the higher-ranked Cojute (#5, 5-5) by 5 points 81-76. Despite this victory Ahuachapan slide down in the standings to 9th position. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 3-7 record. Brown is a newcomer at Ahuachapan and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.1ppg (#4). He also registered 14.4 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to another A.Lobos' star - guard Jerome Savoy (185-G). Savoy showcased his all-around game by recording 25 points, 15 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. He was another key player of A.Lobos BKB, helping his team with a 77-69 win against the lower-ranked Santa Tecla (#6, 5-5). A.Lobos is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 8-1 record is not that bad... Savoy has a great season in El Salvador. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.9ppg (5th best), rebounds with 11.1rpg (7th best) and assists with 4.6apg (5th best).
