Colombian Center John Hernandez (207-C-1984) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Santiagueno BC, receiving a Hoops Agents Liga MB Player of the Week award for round 13.
The 41-year old player had a double-double of 36 points and 36 rebounds, while his team in a lost game to Santa Ana (#8, 4-6) 78-84. Santiagueno maintains the 10th position in Salvadorean Liga MB. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 8 games and recorded just two victories. Hernandez turned to be Santiagueno's top player in his first season with the team. John Hernandez has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (7th best: 20.9ppg) and averages impressive 1.7bpg and 53.9% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Puerto Rican Xavier Zambrana (193-F-1991) of MC El Brasil Santa Ana. Zambrana had a very good evening with a triple-double of 20 points, 19 rebounds and 13 assists. It was enough for Santa Ana to edge slightly lower-ranked Santiagueno (#10, 2-8) 84-78. Santa Ana's 8th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-6 record. Zambrana is a newcomer at Santa Ana, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was center Brayan Garcia (200-C-1998) of league's top team AD Isidro Metapan. Garcia scored 25 points and grabbed 15 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Metapan, leading his team to a 77-66 win against the lower-ranked Cojute (#5, 5-5). Metapan have amazing season winning all 10 games without a single defeat. Garcia turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Garcia has a great season in El Salvador. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 4.3apg (6th best).

8. Marvin Cairo (203-C-1991) of Metapan - 20 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists
9. Lincoln Smith (196-F) of Independiente - 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists
10. Michael Hinestroza (210-C-1990) of Salvadorenos - 7 points and 15 rebounds
