Savoy's 45-point game gives him Liga MB Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

American Guard Jerome Savoy (185-G) had an amazing evening in the last round for A.Lobos BKB and receives a Hoops Agents Liga MB Player of the Week award for round 21.
He had the game-high 45 points adding eight rebounds and five assists for A.Lobos in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Brujos (#11, 1-18) with 67-point margin 119-52. A.Lobos maintains the 3rd position in Salvadorean Liga MB. They are still close to the very top. A.Lobos would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 15-3 record. In the team's last game Savoy had a remarkable 68.8% from 2-point range. He turned to be A.Lobos' top player in his first season with the team. Pfeiffer University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Savoy is in league's top in points (2nd best: 26.2ppg), assists (9th best: 4.3apg) and averages solid 58.9% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Marvin Cairo (203-C-1991) of top-ranked AD Isidro Metapan. He is Cuban center in his first season at Metapan. In the last game Cairo recorded an impressive 31 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course he led Metapan to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Ahuachapan (#9, 5-14) 109-81. Of course Metapan still keep the league's top spot. His team belongs to top of the standings with 17-1 record and is considered one of the main candidates for the league title. Cairo is a newcomer at Metapan and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Metapan's star - guard Noah Harris (185-G-2002). Harris got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. He went also for nine assists. He was another key player of AD Isidro Metapan, helping his team with a 109-81 easy win against the lower-ranked Ahuachapan (#9, 5-14). Many experts and fans count Metapan as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 17 victories and only one lost game. They are currently at the very top of the standings. Harris has a great season in El Salvador. After 18 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 4.6apg (6th best).
