Santa Ana - Metapan 75-104

Metapan had a 40-29 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 34 assists comparing to just 18 passes made by Santa Ana's players. Brayan Garcia had a double-double by scoring 21 points, 17 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Cuban center Marvin Cairo (203-1991) chipped in 19 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists during the contest. Four Metapan players scored in double figures. Puerto Rican forward Xavier Zambrana (193-1991) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 17 rebounds and 6 assists and American point guard Marquise Mosley (170-1997, college: Biola, CA, agency: Crossover Management) scored 25 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

Yoel Cubillas orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 23 rebounds and 4 assists. American point guard Marquise Mosley (170-1997, college: Biola, CA, agency: Crossover Management) contributed with 25 points and 9 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) for the winners. Timothy Simmons replied with 12 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and added 12 points and 15 rebounds in the effort for A.Lobos. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
