Group A
Canada - Argentina 71-65
Canada held off Argentina to finish the preliminary round undefeated. Brynn Masikewich (186-PF-01) scored 15 points and grabbed 20 rebounds to lead the North American team. Canada built a 38:26 halftime advantage. Argentina pulled within 6 points at the final intermission. But Canada sank 23 points in the fourth term and secured the winning outcome. Sarah Te-Biasu (159-PG-01) chipped in 15 points in the win. Sofia Acevedo (167-PG-01) responded with 19 points for Argentina.

Venezuela - Dominican Republic 70-50
Venezuela outgunned Dominican Republic to take the first victory in the championship. Nicole Garcia (174-SG-01) provided 11 points to lead the winners. Venezuela went on a 39:13 first half run to clear off. They maintained the advantage throughout the second half and rallied to the win. Yulianny Perez (175-F-01) and Alcislyn Chirinos (179-F-01) had 10 points each for the winners. Yendri Acosta (168-G-01) responded with 12 points for Dominican Republic.

Group B
Puerto Rico - USA 32-79
The USA cruised past Puerto Rico to ensure the third consecutive victory in Buenos Aires. Aliyah Boston (190-C) recorded 17 points and 12 rebounds for the North American side. The USA established a 35:15 halftime lead. They extended the margin at 31-point mark at the final intermission and never looked back en route to the win. Paige Bueckers (180-F) delivered 12 points for the winners. Marieliz Martinez (170-SF-01) responded with 14 points for Puerto Rico.

Colombia - Mexico 45-41
Colombia held off Mexico in Buenos Aires to ensure the semifinal birth. Daniela Gonzalez (179-C-02) scored 15 points and pulled down 19 boards for the winners. Colombia eked out a 19:18 halftime lead. Mexico surged ahead for a 33:31 advantage heading into the final stanza. But Colombia bounced back with a 14:8 run in the fourth term and sealed the win. Hamileth Ulloa (176-SG-01) recorded 14 points in the victory. Karina Esquer (170-F-00) responded with 10 points for Mexico.
