USA - Chile 109-44
USA cruised past hosting Chile for the second straight win at the tournament. Payton Verhulst (185-G-03) delivered 21 points in the victory. The North American side built a 50:21 halftime advantage. They followed with a 36:2 run in the third term to clear off for good. Lauren Betts (201-C-03) and Sonia Citron (185-G-03) had 16 points each for the winners. Fernanda Ovalle (175-G-03) replied with 13 points for Chile.

Canada - Puerto Rico 83-40
Canada stormed past Puerto Rico to clinch the top position in Group A. Avianna Thompson (178-F-03) provided 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Canada grabbed a 43:16 halftime lead and controlled the tempo in the second half. Isaline Alexander had 11 points in the victory. Jullie Ruiz (165-G-03) had 14 points in the loss.

USA - Mexico 98-33
USA cruised past Mexico to finish the preliminary round undefeated. Payton Verhulst came up with 19 points to pace the winners. USA grabbed a 54:17 halftime lead and never looked back en route to the victory. Londynn Jones (168-G-04) provided 13 points for the winners. Mariana Valenzuela (03) replied with 12 points for Mexico.

Brazil - Ecuador 55-71
Ecuador rallied past Brazil to finish third in Group A. Evelyn Pilay (178-F-03) came up with 16 points and 14 rebounds to lead the winners. Ecuador got to a strong start. They piled up a 44:20 halftime lead. Brazil answered with a 19:8 run in the third term to narrow the gap. But Ecuador outscored Brazil in the fourth stanza to seal the victory. Blanca Quinonez (185-SF-06) had 11 points in the win. Brenda Bleidao replied with 22 points and 12 rebounds for Brazil.

Mexico - El Salvador 73-25
Mexico thumped El Salvador to open win count in Aysen. Mariana Valenzuela stepped up with 18 points and 21 rebounds to pace the winning side. Mexico held El Salvador to just 8 points in the first half to clear off for good. Arantxa Fonseca (03) dropped 10 points in the win. Amanda Williams (175-G-03) replied with 10 points for El Salvador.
