USA marched past Brazil to enter the semifinal stage. USA dominated from start to finish. They accumulated a 52:15 halftime advantage. USA unleashed 55 points in the second half and secured the victory. Sonia Citron (185-G-03) had 16 points, while Lauren Betts (201-C-03) added 15 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Raiane Dias (170-SG-03) replied with 8 points for Brazil.
Puerto Rico - Mexico 50-48
Puerto Rico held off Mexico in the quarterfinal clash. Paloma Garcia (167-SG-05) stepped up with 13 points to pace the winners. Puerto Rico grabbed a 29:25 halftime lead. But Mexico responded with a 14:7 run in the third term to surge ahead. But Puerto Rico used a 14:9 rally in the fourth stanza to snatch the win. Silkiari Vazquez (163-G-03) had 12 points in the victory. Mariana Valenzuela (03) answered with 17 points and 14 rebounds for Mexico.
Chile - Ecuador 56-43
Chile entered the semis in Aysen. The hosts topped Ecuador in the quarterfinal clash. Fernanda Ovalle (175-G-03) posted 23 points and 17 rebounds in the victory. Ecuador enjoyed a 26:20 halftime advantage. However Chile ignited a 23:6 run in the fourth term to eke out victory. Valentina Ojeda (180-F-03) had 13 points and 16 rebounds in the win. Blanca Quinonez (185-SF-06) answered with 18 points for Ecuador.
Canada - El Salvador 61-15
Canada eased past El Salvador to reach the semifinal stage in Chile. Canada limited their opponents to just 6 points in the first half to open a 32-point advantage. Canada never looked back afterwards to race to the win. Avianna Thompson (178-F-03) posted 13 points, while Tara Wallack (181-G-03) added 11 points in the victory. Rebeca Roque (182-C-04) replied with 6 points for El Salvador.
