Avery Arije (179-F-2009) replied with 13 points for Canada. 3-4 PlaceMexico - Colombia 51-43Mexico stepped onto the pedestal in Irapuato. They held off Colombia in the Bronze medal game. Mexico and Colombia were tied at 21 at halftime. But Mexico ignited an 18-7 rally in the third term to spur ahead. Colombia cut the deficit in the fourth period but could not avoid the loss. Greidysmar Camacaro (167-SG-2009) chipped in 13 points for Venezuela. 7-8 PlacePanama - Puerto Rico 72-95Puerto Rico wrapped up their Irapuato campaign on a high note. They breezed past Panama to earn the 7th position. Puerto Rico eked out a 45-41 halftime lead. They went on a strong 50-31 second half rally to ice the victory. Lucianna Parrotta notched 20 points and 12 rebounds, while Amahya Hernandez had 16 points in the win. Vivian Grenald replied with 30 points and 13 rebounds for Panama. |
