U.S. Virgin Islands - Guyana 111-51
US Virgin Islands registered second straight win in Nassau. This time they blasted Guyana 111-51 for perfect 2-0 record in Preliminary Group A. Thanks to this win, US Virgin Islands already booked a spot for the Semifinals. They will meet Jamaica today and the winner will end as No.1 of this pool. Guyana dropped to 0-2, same as Antigua. Aaron Brown (195-G-92) shined for the winners with 21 points and 5 rebounds. Ivan Aska (200-F-90) had 18 points and 9 boards, while Jason Edwin (197-G/F-81, college: Kent St.) (11 rebs) and Michael Phillips (195-F-81, college: S.Alabama) (6 rebs) helped with 13 points each. In defeat, Keron McKenzie (193-G-86, agency: ARN Sports and Entertainment, college: Armstr.Atlantic) collected 25 points and 5 rebounds. Ryan Gullen (C) (7 rebs) and Dwayne Roberts (C) (6 rebs) scored 8 points apiece. Quarters: 28-13, 26-21, 34-14, 23-3. Today is the last day of the Preliminary Round in Nassau.

Saint Vincent - Cayman Islands 72-70
Saint Vincent is still in the race for the Quarterfinals of CBC Championship in Nassau. This is their first victory at this event. Saint Vincent grabbed 72-70 thriller win against Cayman Islands for 1-2 record in Group B. If they want to reach the next stage, Saint Vincent will have to beat British Virgin Islands. Of course, it would be a surprise if Saint Vincent makes it. Cayman Islands stay winless (0-3). They will meet Bermudas today. Randolph Williams (188-G-76) exploded with 29 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Lezlo McKenzie (G-79) had 19 points and 9 boards, while Dameon Ottley (89) added 10 pts. Jorge Ebanks (185-G-88, college: Daemen) replied with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in defeat. Samuel O'Garro (196-F/G-88) had 16 and Deandre Simpson (195-G-90, college: SW Oklahoma St.) added 10 pts, plus 11 rebs. Quarters: 16-15, 15-11, 13-20, 28-24.

Bahamas - British Virgin Islands 80-61
Bahamas finished Preliminary Round in Nassau with perfect 4-0 record. This time the host of CBC Championship was too strong for British Virgin Islands 80-61. Of course, Bahamas won the Group B and advanced to Semifinals. They will meet second ranked team of Group A (Jamaica or US Virgin Islands). British Virgin Islands slipped to 2-1, but still have a chance to reach the next stage. They will have to beat Saint Vincent today. Mitchell Johnson (196-F-85, college: Jarvis Christian) was the leading scorer in victory with 14 points. Jamal Douglas (201-F-85, agency: Dynamics Global Management, college: E.Kentucky) had 13 points and 5 boards, and Jaraun Burrows (203-F-85, agency: Warren Sports International, college: IPFW) helped with double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds. In defeat, Randy George (200-F-81, college: Henderson St.) shined with 20 points and 7 rebounds. Kennedy Bass (196-F-81, college: Anderson) (5 rebs, 8 as) and Norville Carey had 10 points each. Quarters: 19-13, 15-15, 29-14, 17-19).
