U.S. Virgin Islands - British Virgin Islands 79-73
US Virgin Island advanced to the Big Final of CAC Championship in Nassau. They handed 79-73 loss to British Virgin Islands in the Semifinals, which was played last night. In the other Semis, Bahamas was better than Jamaica 78-75, so US Virgin Islands and Bahamas will fight for the Gold. British Virgin Islands will meet Jamaica in the battle for third place. It is important to mention that US Virgin Islands and Bahamas already booked a ticket for the next CentroBasket and there is one more spot available. Walter Hodge (183-PG-86, college: Florida) stepped up for the winners with 22 points. Kevin Sheppard (182-G-79, agency: Paris Global Sports, college: Jacksonville) had 18 points and 6 assists, while Phillip Michael Jones (208-F/C-85, agency: ARN Sports and Entertainment, college: Charlotte) added 12 points and 10 boards. Rashid Cann (183-G-86) replied with 29 points in defeat. Bahamas - Jamaica 78-75 OT
Bahamas grabbed 78-75 thriller win against Jamaica to reach the Big Final of CBC Championship 2011. The host of this event needed an overtime to beat Jamaica last night. They will take on US Virgin Islands for the Gold. Also Bahamas already booked a ticket for the next CentroBasket. Jamaica also has a chance to do it, but they will have to beat British Virgin Islands in the game for third place. Alonzo Hinds (183-G-84, college: Midland CC) was the leading scorer in victory with 14 points. Jean-Rony Cadeau (87) had 13 points and 12 rebounds, while Jaraun Burrows (203-F-85, agency: Warren Sports International, college: IPFW) added 12 pts, plus 14 rebs. In the loosing squad, Akeem Scott (186-PG-83, agency: Interperformances, college: High Point) collected 23 points and 5 rebs. Patrick Ewing Jr. (203-F-84, college: Georgetown) (8 rebs) and Lynford Brown (193-G/F-84) had 16 and 13 points respectively. Quarters: 25-19, 18-8, 15-26, 12-17, 8-5. The championship will end today.

Antigua - Saint Vincent 82-66
It was the first game of the Classification Round from 5th to 7th place in Nassau. Antigua was too strong for Saint Vincent 82-66 yesterday. It means that Antigua will meet Bermudas in the battle for position No.5. Saint Vincent will take on Guyana for the seventh place. Both games will be played today. Julius Hodge (201-G-83, college: N.Carolina St.) shined for the winners with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Mario Davis (198-F/G-80, college: Missouri Western) had 16 points and 5 boards, while Lennox McCoy (188-G-77, agency: Prossin Sports Management, college: Cent.Oklahoma) added 15 pts and 5 rebs. In defeat, Dameon Ottley (89) collected 17 pts and 5 rebs. Their second scorer was Randolph Williams (188-G-76) with 12 pts. Quarters: 19-16, 16-26, 22-13, 25-11.
Bermudas - Guyana 68-58
Bermudas made a first step forward to fifth place at the CBC Championship in Nassau. They handed 68-58 loss to Guyana yesterday. In order to end as No.5 Bermudas will have to beat Antigua. On the other side, Guyana will play against Saint Vincent in the battle for seventh place. Cayman Islands already finished as the last ranked team at this event. Jason Lowe (85) exploded for the winners with 29 points. Sullivan Phillips (198-G/F-79, agency: Interperformances, college: Wash.Adventist) helped with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. All other players had less than 7 pts. In Guyana, Keron McKenzie (193-G-86, agency: ARN Sports and Entertainment, college: Armstr.Atlantic) delivered 20 points.
