U.S. Virgin Islands - Bahamas 91-89
CBC Championship 2011 in Nassau is over. US Virgin Islands grabbed 91-89 thriller win against Bahamas to win the Gold at this event. Both teams booked a spot for the CentroBasket 2012. US Virgin Islands had great first half ending it with 20-point lead, 53-33. However, Bahamas responded with 19-28 in Q3 and everything was open again. Kevin Sheppard (182-G-79, agency: Paris Global Sports, college: Jacksonville) stepped up for the US Virgin Islands after that to stop Bahamas and together with Cuthbert Victor (196-F-83, college: Murray St.) and Walter Hodge (183-PG-86, college: Florida) helped his team to win the Gold at this event. Sheppard exploded with 28 points and 7 rebounds, while Cuthbert and Hodge had 19 and 18 points respectively. Cuthbert also pulled down 10 rebounds in this meeting.

British Virgin Islands - Jamaica 54-55
Third place in Nassau belongs to Jamaica. It was another thriller and Jamaica celebrated 55-54 win against the British Virgin Islands. Thanks to this victory Jamaica won the Bronze at the CBC Championship 2011 and they also booked a ticket for the CentroBasket 2012. British Virgin Islands stay without the medal as they finished as No.4. Jamaica made plus 8 in the first quarter and jumped to 10-point lead until the halftime. British Virgin Islands responded with 10-17 after the breather and teams went to exciting finish. Jamaica was scoreless in the last four minutes of the game, but still thanks to pretty good defense they managed to keep plus one until the end. Garfield Blair (196-G-87) stepped up for Jamaica with 14 points. In the loosing squad, Rashid Cann (183-G-86) delivered 9 pts.

Antigua - Bermudas 78-86
Bermudas won the fifth place in Nassau. They outplayed Antigua 86-78 in the last day of the CBC Championship to take this spot. Of course, Antigua ended as No.6. Sullivan Phillips (198-G/F-79, agency: Interperformances, college: Wash.Adventist) was a key player for the winners. He spent 39 minutes on the court collecting 27 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Phillips reached valuation 33. Jason Simons (86) and Jahvon Dean Jones (198-F-83) (5 rebs, 5 as) helped with 17 and 14 points respectively. In the loosing squad, Lennox McCoy (188-G-77, agency: Prossin Sports Management, college: Cent.Oklahoma) collected 19 points and 6 rebs. Wayne Walker (76) followed with 17 pts and 7 rebs. Quarters: 12-21, 15-22, 26-15, 25-28.

Saint Vincent - Guyana 64-93
Guyana finished as the seventh ranked team in CBC Championship 2011. They blasted Saint Vincent 93-64 in the last day of the competition in Nassau. Saint Vincent finished as No.8. The last ranked team at this event are Cayman Islands. Keron McKenzie (193-G-86, agency: ARN Sports and Entertainment, college: Armstr.Atlantic) exploded with 38 points for the winners. He made 8 triples in this meeting. Stephan Gillis had 14 pts to help Guyana. In defeat, Lezlo McKenzie (G-79) collected 18 points and 10 rebounds. Orlando Fergusson (78) scored 14 pts, while Jervon Stewart had 13 pts and 9 rebs. Quarters: 18-22, 16-26, 9-24, 21-21.
