British Virgin Islands - Cayman Islands 92-78
British Virgin Islands recorded the second straight victory in Tortola. They raced past Cayman Islands to stay undefeated on top of Group A. Killven Samuel (188-G-89) and Kennedy Bass (196-F-81, college: Anderson, SC) tossed in 15 points each for British Virgin Islands. Cayman Islands snatched a 20:16 lead after the opening quarter. But the hosts sparked with a 28:16 run in the second frame to surge ahead. British Virgin Islands unloaded 29 points in the third term to boost the margin at 17-point mark. British Virgin Islands kept Cayman Islands at distance in the fourth frame and rolled to the victory. Halstead Chiverton (193-G-82, college: Clinton CC, NY) had 13 points in the win. Samuel O'Garro (195-G-88, college: Eckerd) responded with 25 points for Cayman Islands.

Barbados - Saint Vincent 63-70
Saint Vincent recorded the first victory in Group A. They overcame Barbados to improve at 1-1 record. Sean Baptiste (190-G-88, college: Fair Dickinson) scored 21 points to lead the winners. Saint Vincent piled up a 27:9 lead ten minutes into the game. Barbados cut the deficit at 11-point mark at the final intermission. They tried hard to narrow the margin in the fourth frame but Saint Vincent held on to the victory. Alexis Foyle (198-F-78, college: BYU-Hawaii) tossed in 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Akeem Marsh (206-F/C-87) and John Jones (206-F-92) answered with 14 points each for Barbados.

Group B
Guyana - Bahamas 69-89
Bahamas clinched the second straight victory at the CBC Championship. They toppled Guyana to stay unbeaten in Group B. Kentwan Smith (203-F-91) tossed in 18 points to pace Bahamas. They unloaded 53 points in the first half and grabbed a 14-point lead at the big break. Bahamas controlled the tempo in the second half and cruised to the victory. Leon Cooper Jr. (188-G-91) accounted for 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for Bahamas. Dave Causway answered with 19 points for Guyana. Gordon James (198-F-79, college: Bridgeport) banked in 18 points and 11 rebonds in the defeat.

Surinam - Antigua 50-85
Kurt Looby (210-C-84, agency: Inception Sports, college: Iowa) posted 13 points and 6 rebounds and led Antigua past Surinam in Group B action. Antigua led from start to finish. They established a 51:22 halftime advantage. Antigua stretched the margin at 39-point mark at the final break and never looked back en route to the win. Ernest Scott (201-F-82, college: Valdosta St.), Sharife Sergeant (203-F-92) and Jerome Richardson (194-F/G-83, college: Louisiana Tech) finished with 11 points each for Antigua. Suriname responded with 11 points from Yves Goedschalk (190-C).
