What a coincidence that all visitors won their games. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

Leader ELOHIM delivered the eighth win on Thursday night. This time they crushed 5th ranked Pampichi (4-5) 102-81. ELOHIM looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. The best player for the winners was center Bernie Diaz (200-81) who scored 26 points and 5 rebounds. Naturalized Salvadorean guard Ricardo Amaya (191-84) chipped in 17 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was naturalized American power forward Freddy Fernandez (197-92) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. ELOHIM have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 8-1 record. Pampichi at the other side keeps the fifth place with five games lost. They share the position with GMS. ELOHIM will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Pampichi will play against GMS (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

It was a good game for forward Victor Sosa (190-88) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 16 rebounds. Alex Juarez contributed with 22 points and 9 assists for the winners. point guard Anthony Guerra (178-97) replied with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for GMS. USAC maintains second position with 7-2 record behind leader ELOHIM. GMS at the other side dropped to the fifth place with five games lost. They share the position with Pampichi. USAC's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Guatemala URL.

The best stats of 18th round was 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists by Oscar Salguero of ELOHIM.



GMS - USAC 70-86

The game in was also worth to mention about. Second ranked USAC (7-2) played at the court of 6th ranked GMS (4-5). USAC defeated GMS 86-70. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of GMS. USAC dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to GMS's 24. They outrebounded GMS 43-30 including 30 on the defensive glass. USAC players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. It was a good game for forward Victor Sosa (190-88) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 16 rebounds. Point guard Alex Juarez (175-93) contributed with 22 points and 9 assists for the winners. Point guard Anthony Guerra (178-97) replied with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Jorge Castaneda (189-82) added 12 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for GMS. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. USAC maintains second position with 7-2 record behind leader ELOHIM. GMS at the other side dropped to the fifth place with five games lost. They share the position with Pampichi.
