Kevin Paredes claims Guatemalan Liga Metropolitan Hoops Agents weekly honour

Kevin Paredes had an amazing evening in the last round for league's second-best Coeindeguasa and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Liga Metropolitan Player of the Week award for round 1.
The had the game-high 22 points adding three rebounds for Coeindeguasa in his team's victory, helping them to beat Dark Knights (#6, 0-1), the league's bottom-ranked team 59-49. Coeindeguasa is placed at 2nd position in Guatemalan Liga Metropolitan. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Coeindeguasa won just one (their first) game. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Paredes had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range. He turned to be Coeindeguasa's top player in his first season with the team. Paredes has impressive league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 22.0ppg. Paredes is in league's top in and averages solid 71.4% FGP and 60.0% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Coeindeguasa's star - young Yordic Velazquez (1994). The third best performed player last round was Kevin Garcia (1996) of Villa Nueva (#7). Garcia scored 3 points and grabbed eleven rebounds (!!!).
