Guatemalan Liga Metropolitana round 4 best performance: Enrique Samayoa (by Hoops Agents)

Power forward Enrique Samayoa (196-PF-1982) had a great game in the last round for top-ranked Villa Nueva, receiving a Hoops Agents Liga Metropolitana Player of the Week award for round 4.

Third on the list of top players last round was Salvadorean guard Ricardo Amaya (191-G-1984) of Halcones (#4). Amaya scored 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Despite Amaya's great performance Halcones lost 58-80 to #1 ranked Villa Nueva. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Halcones needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 1 victory and 1 lost game. Amaya has a great season in Guatemala. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 14.0ppg (6th best), rebounds with 7.5rpg (5th best) and assists with 2.0apg (7th best). Ricardo Amaya has also Guatemalan passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.
