The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of PSN (2-1) in Guatemala on Monday night. Hosts were defeated by USAC (2-1) 70-65. USAC forced 19 PSN turnovers and outrebounded them 35-24 including 28 on the defensive glass. 24 personal fouls committed by PSN helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for forward Victor Sosa (190-1988) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds. American Ramon Hernandez (180) contributed with 9 points for the winners. Harold Menzel (185-2004) answered with 15 points for PSN. PSN's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help.
