The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of PSN (2-1) in Guatemala on Monday night. Hosts were defeated by USAC (2-1) 70-65. USAC forced 19 PSN turnovers and outrebounded them 35-24 including 28 on the defensive glass. 24 personal fouls committed by PSN helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for forward Victor Sosa (190-1988) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds. American Ramon Hernandez (180) contributed with 9 points for the winners. Harold Menzel (185-2004) answered with 15 points for PSN. PSN's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. USAC's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Guatemala Forza.
Important game to mention about took place in Guatemala. Litegua (1-2) saved a 2-point derby victory at home edging Leones (1-2) 66-64 in the game for the fourth place. It was a great evening for Mario Godoy who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds. David Goddard helped adding 19 points. The best for the losing side was forward Rodrigo Perez with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Litegua's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Guatemala to the arena Halcones.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Guatemala: Halcones (#1) and Forza (#6). Forza was defeated at home 76-87 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It was an exceptional evening for Miguel Gonzalez who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Enrique Samayoa came up with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists for Forza in the defeat. Halcones' supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Guatemala Litegua.

The best for the losing side was forward Rodrigo Perez with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and American guard Derek Morgan (188-2001, college: Union, KY) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds.
