2027 World Cup Pre-Qualifiers: Costa Rica celebrate second straight win

Costa Rica celebrated second straight win at the 2027 World Cup Pre-Qualifiers. They overcame Guatemala 97-64 in Day 2 of the competition. Costa Rica started with a 20-13 run and added a 25-13 rally in the second frame. Moreover, they posted two more wins in the second half to seal a comfortable total victory.
Daniel Shedden (193-F-1996, college: MSUB) led the way with 12 points and Steven Mcdonald (197-C-1998) as well as Fabian Segura (180-PG-2000) poured in 11 apiece. Donalval Avila (188-SG-2001) replied with 14 points in the losing effort.
