The most exciting game of round 3 in the Liga Metropolitana took place in Guatemala. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of PSN (0-2) to USAC (3-0) 66-64 on Wednesday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. The best player for the winners was Ruben Jerez (-1994) who scored 15 points and 4 assists. Forward Victor Sosa (190-1988) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Cesar Catalan (190-2007) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds. PSN's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Pat City was crushed at home by 18 points 69-87 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It was a good game for center Luke Garrison (-1997) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 15 rebounds. Mario Martinez contributed with 17 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. The former international Ronald Campos (-1987) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 20 rebounds for Pat City.
