Guatemalan Liga Metropolitana round 5 best performance: Sebastian Tabata

Sebastian Tabata had a very impressive game in the last round for Forza, receiving a Hoops Agents Liga Metropolitana Player of the Week award for round 5.
The player had a double-double of 25 points and 10 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Pat City (#7, 0-4) with 47-point margin 99-52. Forza maintains the 3rd position in Guatemalan Liga Metropolitana. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost two games earlier this season. Forza will need more victories to improve their 3-2 record. In the team's last game Tabata had a remarkable 78.6% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Forza, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Sebastian Tabata has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (5th best: 18.8ppg), rebounds (6th best: 11.0rpg) and averages impressive 3.0spg and 57.7% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Canadian Marcus Faison (196-SG-1994) of Solola AsoBasket. Faison had a very good evening with 27 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists. His team's 2-2 record is not bad at all. Faison is one of the most experienced players at Solola and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.5ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 9.5rpg and 4.0apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Forza's star - guard David Monterroso (180-PG-1979). Monterroso scored 22 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. He was another key player of Forza, helping his team with a 99-52 easy win against Pat City (#7, 0-4). Forza needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 2 lost games. The season just started for Monterroso as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be another team's leader.
