Liga Metropolitana Round 2 (Regular Season): Forza keep a leadership position

There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in Liga Metropolitana. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Forza defeated PSN in Guatemala 84-71. Center Luke Garrison (-1997) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. American power forward Kiyjohnte Houston (203-1998, college: Patrick Henry, agency: Fully Feared Sports) contributed with 22 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Michael Alvarez replied with 16 points and 6 rebounds for PSN. PSN's coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. PSN will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. Forza will try to continue on its current victory against Solola on the road.
An interesting game for El Progreso which played road game in against Bulls. El Progreso managed to get a 3-point victory 88-85. Sebastian Tabata had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Herlin Rodriguez chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. El Progreso's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Hector Chur (180-1999) responded with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 11 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!). El Progreso will play against Pat City in Guatemala in the next round. Bulls will have a break next round.




Bulls - El Progreso 85-88

An interesting game for El Progreso which played road game in against Bulls. El Progreso managed to get a 3-point victory 88-85. Sebastian Tabata had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Herlin Rodriguez (174-2001) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Five El Progreso players scored in double figures. El Progreso's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Hector Chur (180-1999) responded with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 11 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and the former international swingman Miguel Gonzalez (187-1990) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. El Progreso will play against Pat City in Guatemala in the next round. Bulls will have a break next round.
