Guatemalan Liga Metropolitana round 2 best performance: Luke Garrison (by Hoops Agents)

Center Luke Garrison (C-1997) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked Forza, receiving a Hoops Agents Liga Metropolitana Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 28-year old player had a double-double of 20 points and 12 rebounds, while his team beat PSN (#7, 0-2), the league's bottom-ranked team 84-71. Forza was forced-out from the top positions in Guatemalan Liga Metropolitana. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Forza will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. Garrison turned to be Forza's top player in his first season with the team. Luke Garrison has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (5th best: 20.5ppg), rebounds (5th best: 8.0rpg) and averages impressive 55.6% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Hector Chur (180-SF-1999) of Bulls. Chur had a very good evening with a double-double of 30 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as Bulls was edged by El Progreso (1-0) 88-85. The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Chur is a newcomer at Bulls, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.0ppg (#4). He also registered 8.5 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was Sebastian Tabata of El Progreso (#3). Tabata scored 24 points and grabbed 13 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of El Progreso, leading his team to a 88-85 win against Bulls (#6, 0-2). El Progreso has a very good start of the season. But there was just one game played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Tabata also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. The season just started for Tabata as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader.
