Frink's double-double lands him Liga Metropolitana Player of the Week award

American Guard Kedrick Frink (190-G) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for New Legends and receives a Hoops Agents Liga Metropolitana Player of the Week award for round 3.
He had a double-double of 35 points and 13 rebounds, while his team beat Forza (2-1) 116-109. New Legends is placed at 3rd position in Guatemalan Liga Metropolitana. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. New Legends will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. In the team's last game Frink had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at New Legends and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. Salisbury University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Frink is in league's top in points (7th best: 26.5ppg), rebounds (4th best: 12.5rpg), assists (6th best: 2.0apg) and averages solid 77.4% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Sebastian Tabata of Forza. He is a in his first season at Forza. In the last game Tabata recorded an impressive double-double of 38 points and 15 rebounds. Bad luck as Forza lost that game 109-116 to New Legends (2-1). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Tabata is one of the most experienced players at Forza and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 36.0ppg (#2). He also registered 15.0 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Justin Bradley (198-F) of league's second-best Universidad San Carlos de Guatemala. Bradley got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for nine rebounds . He was a key player of USAC, leading his team to a 96-64 easy win against Pat City (#8, 0-2). USAC started extremely well this year. They recorded 3 victories without losing a single game. Bradley turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Bradley has a great season in Guatemala. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 27.5ppg (6th best).
