Miriam McKenzie

Ciudad de la Adelantados (LF2) agreed terms with 27-year old Guyanese guard Miriam McKenzie (177-90, college: Loyola, MD). She is a dual citizen owning also American passport. McKenzie played last season at AS Aris Thessalonikis in Greek A1 league. In 21 games she was third best scorer with impressive 19.6ppg and averaged 11.4rpg (#3 in the league), 3.3apg and 2.1spg. A very spectacular season in her career as she was voted Eurobasket.com All-Greek League Co-Rookie of the Year, named to All-Imports Team and named to 2nd Team.
The previous (15-16) season she played at Boa Viagem in Portuguese Liga Feminina where in 13 games she had very remarkable stats: 17.2ppg, 7.8rpg, 3.3apg (top 4) and 2.6spg. McKenzie helped them to make it to the Portuguese Federation Cup Semifinals. Quite impressive season as she was named to Portuguese Liga Feminina All-Star Game.
She played in the final of Finnish League in 2013.
McKenzie also represented Guyana at the CBC Championships in Tortola (British Virgin Islands) two years ago. Her stats at that event were 5 games: Score-1 (24.4ppg), Reb-4 (11.6rpg), 1.8apg, Steals-1 (4.4spg), FGP: 43.5%, 3PT: 37.1%, FT: 72.5%.
McKenzie has played also professionally in Finland (Peli Karhut).
She attended Loyola College until 2012 and it will be her sixth season as a professional player.
