UCAM Murcia signs Delroy James

Universidad Catolica de Murcia CB (Liga Endesa) signed 32-year old American (has also Guyanese passport) forward Delroy James (203-100kg-87, college: URI, agency: Network Sports International). He played recently at Seoul Samsung Thunders in South Korean KBL league, but left the team last month. In 33 games he had 7.5ppg, 4.2rpg, 2.3apg and 1.2spg this season. The last summer James played at Meralco Bolts (PBA) in Filipino league where in four games he recorded very impressive stats: 30.0ppg, 8.3rpg, 7.0apg, 1.5spg and 1.5bpg.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2013.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others James' team won InterContinental Cup in 2019. He was also voted Eurobasket.com Greek A1 All-Imports Team in 2018.
James is quite experienced player. He has played in eight different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). James has played previously professionally in Israel (Bnei Hasharon), Italy (Grissin Bon RE, Brindisi and Ferentino), Russia (Enisey), Turkey (Gaziantep and Balikesir), Greece (AEK Athens), NBA G League (OKC Blue), PBL (New Jersey G-F) and The Basketball Tournament (Team Fancy).
He attended University of Rhode Island until 2011 and it is his ninth season as a professional player.
James could be described: A solid PF who can adapt himself to inside game. Has good timing for offensive rebounds, can score even from behing the 3-pts arch.
