Mykonou lands Stefan Peno

Elite League newcomer AO Mykonou tabbed 26-year old Serbian-Guyanese ex-international 194cm guard Stefan Peno. Peno already started the season at Maroussi in GBL. He helped his team get promotion to GBL. In 7 games he averaged 4.9ppg, 1.6rpg and 3.4apg. Elite League will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.
Peno was also a member of Serbian international program for some years. He played for Serbian Senior National Team between 2014 and 2020 and previously for U19 National Team back in 2015.
Peno represented Serbia at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 in Crete (Greece) six years ago. His stats at that event were 7 games: 8.9ppg, 4.6rpg, 5.0apg, 1.4spg, FGP: 27.5%, 3PT: 29.2%, FT: 76.0%.
He is a very experienced player. Peno has played also professionally in Germany (ALBA Berlin and Rasta Vechta), Lithuania (Lietkabelis and Prienu Maciunai-KKSC), Spain (FC Barcelona, FC Barcelona Lassa 2nd team and Surne Bilbao) and Serbia (OKK Beograd). He played in the final of German Bundesliga in 2018 and 2019.
