Jean-Charles re-signs at PBC CSKA Moscow

Livio Jean-Charles

Defending champion PBC CSKA Moscow (VTB United League) confirmed in their roster 31-year old French-Guyanese ex-international power forward Livio Jean-Charles (205cm-1993) for the new 2025-26 season. He has played there for the last three seasons, helping them win the VTB United League championship. It was a very impressive season for him as he was named to the Eurobasket.com VTB United League Second Team.
In 2013, he was drafted by the San Antonio Spurs (NBA) in the first round (28th overall).
Jean-Charles was also a member of the French international program for some years. He played for the French Senior National Team in 2017 and previously for the Under 19 National Team in 2010.
Jean-Charles is a very experienced player, having played for teams in France, Greece, Spain, and the NBA G League. He has played for ASVEL Lyon Villeurbanne Basket and Pole France in France, Olympiacos in Greece, Unicaja in Spain, and the Austin Spurs in the NBA G League.
Among many awards, he was voted Eurobasket.com All-French ProA Defensive Player of the Year in 2020.
