Al Rayyan tabs Jeff Coby

Al Rayyan Doha (D1) inked 27-year old Haitian-American ex-international 203cm forward Jeff Coby, college: Columbia for upcoming season. Coby played last summer at Soles in LNB league in Dominican Republic. He also played for Sabios in Colombian LPB where in 10 games he was league's fifth best scorer with impressive 19.2ppg and recorded 10.2rpg (leader !!!), 2.3apg and 1.4bpg. A very good season in his career as he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Colombian LPB 3rd Team and League Player of the Week.
Coby also represented Haiti at the CIT Championship Winner five years ago.
He is a very experienced player. Coby has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to four different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Luxembourg (Racing), Spain (Prat and Cambados), NBA (New York Knicks) and NBA G League (Austin Spurs).
His team made it to the InterContinental Cup Final Four in 2019.
Coby attended Columbia University until 2017 and it will be his fifth season in pro basketball.
