Wes Alcegaire

Zorg and Zekerheid Leiden (DBL) added to their roster 27-year old American (has also Haitian passport) forward Wes Alcegaire (198cm-95kg-1994, college: BGSU). Alcegaire played last season at KFUM Nassjo Basket in Swedish Basketligan. In 35 games he recorded 13.4ppg, 4.2rpg and 2.4apg. Good season as he was named League Player of the Week. He also spent pre-season at KB Rahoveci (Superliga) in Kosovan league.
Alcegaire has played previously professionally in Bosnia (Bratunac) and Slovakia (Inter Bratislava).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team won Slovakian League Regular Season in 2020. He was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Bosnia and Herzegovina League Forward of the Year back in 2019.
Alcegaire graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2017 and it will be his sixth season as a professional player.
