Levski lands John Florveus

Levski Sofia (NBL) tabbed 32-year old American (has also Haitian passport) 211cm center John Florveus (college: Georgia), agency: BIG for new season. Florveus played most recently at Bashkimi in Kosovan Superliga. He managed to play in three leagues in three countries last year (!!!). In 13 Superliga games he averaged 14.1ppg, 8.9rpg (#3 in the league) and 1.3apg. Florveus helped them to make it to the cup final. He also played for Ovarense in Portuguese Liga Betclic where in 10 games he had 9.9ppg, 4.7rpg and 1.0bpg. The other team he played shortly was CB Prat Juventud in Spanish LEB Gold. In 5 games he recorded 5.0ppg and 1.8rpg.
Florveus is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in nine different countries playing on four different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Florveus has played previously professionally in France (Lourdes Tarbes), Germany (s Oliver Baskets and Wuerzburg), Greece (Koroivos), Japan (Tokyo Cinq Reves), Romania (BC Timba Timisoara), Slovakia (Spisski Rytieri), Slovenia (Helios Suns), Georgia (Cactus) and Bolivia (Amistad and Rubair).
Among many awards he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Slovakian League Honorable Mention back in 2019.
He graduated from University of Georgia in 2013 and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball.
