Saintel comes back to Prat

CB Prat Juventud (LEB Silver) strengthened their roster with addition of 27-year old American (has also Haitian passport) 201cm swingman Junior Saintel (college: Stony Brook) for season 2023-24. It is actually his comeback to Prat as he has played here before. Saintel is not a newcomer in Spanish League where he played most recently at Cantabria in the LEB Gold. In 15 LEB Silver games he recorded 5.3ppg, 2.0rpg, 1.1apg and 1.0spg in 2021-22 year. LEB Silver will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. He helped them to win the regular season.
The previous (2020-21) season he played at FC Barcelona Lassa 2nd team. In 32 LEB Silver games he averaged 8.5ppg and 3.1rpg in that year. Saintel contributed to his team winning the LEB Silver Play-Off title and they also made it to the Cup final.
He has played previously for Spanish team Clavijo.
Saintel graduated from Stony Brook University in 2018 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball. He played also for Chipola College for 2 years.
