Anyang KGC (KBL) inked 32-year old Haitian 208cm center Cady Lalanne (college: UMass) for upcoming season. He played most recently at Trilogy (Big3) in the U.S. The lasthe played at Kuwait in Kuwaiti league where in 16 West Asia Super League games he averaged impressive 17.3ppg, 11.1rpg (#2 in the league), 1.8apg and 1.5bpg last season. He helped them to win the group title. A very good season in his career as he was awarded Asiabasket.com All-West Asia Super League Final 8 Center of the Year, League Player of the Week and voted to Asiabasket.com All-West Asia Super League Final 8 First Team.
In 2015 he was drafted by San Antonio Spurs (NBA) in second round (55th overall). The former University of Massachusetts star is in his tenth season in pro basketball.
Lalanne is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to nine different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Lalanne has played previously professionally in China (Golden Bulls), Italy (Brindisi), Kuwait, Puerto Rico (Capitanes and Piratas), Spain (BAXI Manresa and Hereda San Pablo Burgos), Turkey (Besiktas), South Korea (Sakers and Sonicboom), NBA G League (Austin Spurs) and The Basketball Tournament (Armored Athlete).
