The Wizards add Labissiere to their roster

Skal Labissiere

The Washington Wizards added 29-year-old Haitian forward Skal Labissiere to their roster for the new 2025-26 season. He played last season with the Orlando Magic. In 5 NBA Summer League games, he recorded 6.4ppg, 2.6rpg, 1.0apg, and 1.4bpg.
In 2016, he was drafted by the Phoenix Suns in the first round (28th overall). He attended the University of Kentucky, and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball.
Labissiere is a very experienced player. He has played professionally in Puerto Rico (Cangrejeros and Criollos), as well as for other NBA teams (Portland Trail Blazers, NY Knicks, and Sacramento Kings), Puerto Rico, NBA G League (Stockton, Westchester Knicks, and Capitanes de Ciudad de Mexico), and NBA Summer League (San Antonio Spurs). In 2025, Labissiere was voted to USBasket.com All-NBA G League Honorable Mention.
His team made it to the NBA G League Semifinals in 2024.
