Carlos Quesada paced Costa Rica past Honduras at the 2025 FIBA AmeriCup Pre-Qualifiers. He nailed 16 points as his side posted a 69-55 win.
Costa Rica opened the game with a 23-10 run and led 10 points at the halftime. Honduras replied with a 21-19 run in the third quarter, whilst Costa Rica closed the game with a final 15-9 surge.
Victor Arias (198-F-1995) and David Shedden (197-F-1995) delivered 11 points each for the winners. Denneson Lucas (185-PG-2000) ended up with 14, while Carlos Dionicio (174-SG-1999) produced 10.
