Real Esteli welcomes back Rapalo

Nelly Rapalo

Real Esteli (LSBF) signed 25-year-old Honduran 173cm guard Nelly Rapalo. It marks her return to Esteli, where she previously played. Rapalo most recently played for Sodie Mesquita in the Brazilian LBF league, averaging 8.2ppg, 4.7rpg, 3.5apg, and 1.1spg in 21 games.
She represented Honduras at the FIBA Central American Women's Championship in Managua (Nicaragua) this year. During this event she scored an average of ppg and had rpg.
Rapalo is a very experienced player. She has played in Panama (Amazonas), Portugal (Ferragudo), Spain (Picken Claret), Puerto Rico (Bayamon), and Nicaragua (Jaguares).
In addition to winning the Portuguese Division I championship title in 2023, Rapalo was also voted the Latinbasket.com All-Nicaraguan LSBF Forward of the Year in 2021.
