Wisla Can-Pack adds Gidden to their roster

TS Wisla Can-Pack Krakow (TBLK) added to their roster 32-year old Jamaican ex-international power forward Vanessa Gidden (192-85, college: Hofstra, agency: Josep and Nicolas). She started the season at Araski in Spanish LFB league. In 11 games she recorded 12.2ppg, 8.2rpg and 1.5apg this season. The last season Gidden played at Perfumerias Avenida in LFB where in 24 games she averaged 11.0ppg, 4.8rpg and 1.1apg. She helped them to win the LFB title (twice) and the cup (also twice). A very spectacular season in her career as she was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LFB Honorable Mention. Gidden also played 14 games in Euroleague where she had 7.9ppg, 4.9rpg and 1.9apg.
Gidden represented Jamaica at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Mayaguez (Puerto Rico) seven years ago. Her stats at that event were 5 games: 15.4ppg, Reb-2 (11.0rpg), FGP: 43.3%, 3PT: 44.4%, FT: 77.8%.
Gidden is quite experienced player. She has played also professionally in Finland (HoNsU), Israel (Elitzur Ramla and Hap.Petah Tikva), Italy (Napoli BK Women and Alcamo), Romania (Sf.Gheorghe), Turkey (Adana ASKI Mersin) and WNBA (Connecticut Sun and Minnesota Lynx).
Gidden attended Hofstra University until 2007 and it is her tenth season as a professional player.
