Ciudad de la Adelantados (LF2) agreed terms with 27-year old Jamaican international power forward Yanique Gordon (193-91, college: Cent.Florida). She played last summer at Deportivo Quito in Ecuadorian Liga Femenina. She helped them to win the Liga Femenina title despite they ended the regular season at the second place. The last season Gordon played at Orduspor in Turkish TKBL where in 34 games she had 13.3ppg, 12.6rpg (#5 in the league), 1.2apg, 1.4spg and 1.0bpg. Quite impressive season as she was named to All-Turkish TKBL Honorable Mention.
She also represented Jamaica at the CBC Championships in Tortola (British Virgin Islands) three years ago. Gordon's team won Silver and her stats at that event were 5 games: 10.6ppg, 4.8rpg, FGP: 51.2%, FT: 60.0%.
Gordon has played previously professionally in Spain (Arxil Pontevedra) and WUBA (Southern Lady Generals).
She attended University of Central Florida until 2015 and it will be her third season as a professional player.
