Adrian Uter
ADRIAN UTER

Leones de Ponce (BSN) landed 33-year old Jamaican international power forward Adrian Uter (201-102kg-84, college: Hofstra, agency: BeoBasket). It is actually his comeback to Leones as he has played here before. The last time (16-17) he played at ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket in French ProA. He missed last season and had one year break from professional basketball.
In 2006 Uter was drafted by Brooklyn Kings (USBL) in third round (22nd overall).
The former Hofstra University starts his 13th (hopefully lucky) season in pro basketball.
Among other achievements Uter's team made it to the French Leaders Cup final in 2017. He received also Eurobasket.com All-French ProA Bosman/Cotonou Player of the Year award and Eurobasket.com All-French ProA 1st Team award in 2016. Uter was a member of Jamaican Senior National Team back in 2013.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball Uter experienced life in six different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Uter has played previously professionally in Austria (Gmunden Swans), Israel (Hapoel Tel Aviv, Maccabi Rishon, Lev Hasharon, B.C. Habikaa and Hapoel Eilat), Italy (MIA-RO Cantu), Portugal (Illiabum) and Puerto Rico (Gallitos).
