Montego Bay Warriors are WBA D1 Basketball League 2018 Champions in Jamaica. In the Final series they beat Jayhawks 2-1 due to 68-61 win in the decisive game. Taffari Vassell top-scored for the winners with 24 points and David Gordon (01) nailed 19. Rhyheem Barrett followed them with 8 points and 6 rebounds. Nicholas Minott replied with 19 points in defeat and Odane Whittaker added 17.

KEVIN FOSTER Taranaki Mountainairs (NBL) agreed terms with 30-year old Jamaican power forward Kevin Foster (203-104kg-89, college: Fresno State, agency: Haylett Sports). He just played at Real Esteli in Nicaraguan LSB league. In three games he had 13.7ppg and 5.0rpg this season. In 2013 Foster was drafted by Reno Bighorns (D-League) in second round (19th overall). St George's College and Campion College crowned themselves champions of the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association (ISSA) National Basketball Championships High Schoolboys Under-19 and Under-16 competitions, respectively, at GC Foster College of Physical Education and Sport in Spanish Town on Monday.
