JEROME JORDAN

Newly promoted Cafes Candelas Breogan Lugo (Liga Endesa) landed 32-year old Jamaican center Jerome Jordan (215-113kg-86, college: Tulsa). He played in the summer at Shaanxi Xinda in Chinese NBL league. Jordan managed to play in three leagues last year (!!!). First he played at Joventut where in 33 Liga Endesa games he averaged 10.1ppg, 4.8rpg and 1.2apg. Jordan also played 4 games in Basketball Champions League where he had 11.5ppg, 5.3rpg and 1.5apg.
In 2010 he was drafted by Milwaukee Bucks (NBA) in second round (44th overall). Jordan attended University of Tulsa and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball.
Among other achievements he played in the final of Drew League in 2014. Jordan received also USBasket.com All-D-League 3rd Team award back in 2013.
He represented Jamaica at the Centrobasket in San Juan (Puerto Rico) six years ago. Jordan's team won Bronze and his stats at that event were 6 games: 10.7ppg, 7.0rpg, 1.0apg, Blocks-2 (1.8bpg), FGP: 52.4%, 3PT: 50.0%, FT: 73.9%.
Jordan is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Italy, Philippines, Serbia, Slovenia, NBA (New Orleans Pelicans, Houston Rockets, Brooklyn Nets, New York Knicks and Memphis Grizzlies) and NBA G League (Erie Bay Hawks and Stockton Kings).
Jordan's game is described as: (by Aran Smith for NBADraft.net in 2010)
Has an ideal NBA center frame with tremendous dimensions including a huge (7-foot-6) wingspan on a 7-plus foot frame Players his size dont often have his agility. Solid in the open floor and has some leaping ability Shows nice touch for a bigman.
Does not appear to enjoy contact and lacks the tough demeanor that you want in a post player Lack of body strength becomes apparent when he meets contact
.
