Defending champions Herbert Morrison Technical will go after back-to-back wins in the ISSA Western Conference boys' basketball competition today when they take on York Castle High in a double-header at York Castle starting at 2:00 pm. Herbert Morrison Technical won by forfeit last week against Muschett High, but should get to play today as York Castle open their season, their second year playing in the Western Conference. Also today, William Knibb will host Muschett High after both schools forfeited their opening games last week. The William Knibb courts were deemed unfit to host games, but they would have had a week to make improvements and get the conditions up to an acceptable standard. Muschett High had forfeited their games as their players did not have identification cards. Cornwall College leadthe points standings in the Under-16 after back-to-back wins and are on four points, followed by Herbert Morrison Technical and Holland High on two each, both from forfeited games. Holland High are on top in the Under-19 section with three points from two games with Herbert Morrison Technical and Cornwall College next on two points each.
