DURAND SCOTT

Levallois Metropolitans (ProA) signed 28-year old Jamaican ex-international swingman Durand Scott (196-92kg-90, college: Miami, FL). He played last season at EWE Baskets in German BBL league. In 5 games he had 6.0ppg and 1.8rpg. Scott also played for the Hustle in NBA where in 31 games he recorded 12.0ppg, 5.3rpg, 2.3apg and 1.2spg. He also spent pre-season at the Grizzlies in NBA. Scott was also tried-out by Fiat (Serie A) in Italian league.
This summer (five years after he left the college) Scott was drafted by Long Island Nets (G-League) in first round (14th overall).
He attended University of Miami, Florida until 2013 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Scott's team won Puerto Rican BSN Regular Season in 2016. He was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Italian SerieA Honorable Mention in 2017. Scott was a member of Jamaican Senior National Team back in 2013.
He is quite experienced player. Scott has played in four different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Israel, Spain (Blusens Monbus), Puerto Rico (Vaqueros) and Italy (Fiat Torino).
