   #1. This week's number one is an experienced former international power forward Vanessa Gidden (192-85, agency: ProDep Management, college: Hofstra, currently plays in Spain). She led Campus Promete to a victory over the eighth-ranked Picken Claret (4-4) 64-53 in the Spanish LF2 (second division) in Saturday night's game. Gidden was MVP of the game. She had a double-double by scoring 28 points and getting 16 rebounds. Gidden also added and 3 steals in 33 minutes on the court. Campus Promete Logrono (8-1) is placed first in Group B. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Gidden has individually a very good year with high stats. She averages: 17.1ppg, 10.2rpg, 1.3apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 45.4%, 3FGP: 33.3% and FT: 62.2% in nine games she played so far. Gidden played for the Jamaican senior national team five years ago.

   #2. Second place goes to former international forward Shereesha Richards (185-93, college: Albany, currently plays in Spain). She managed to help Associacio Esportiva Sedis Basquet to win against the closely-ranked Sant Adria (8-3) 59-50 in the Spanish LFB last Sunday. Richards scored only 4 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Associacio Esportiva Sedis Basquet (5-3) is placed fifth in the LFB. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. But the season just started, so everything may happen. Richards' overall stats this year are: 4.0ppg, 3.7rpg, 2FGP: 41.7%. She played for the Jamaican national team in 2014.

   #3. The Jamaican player who performed third best last week abroad was an international swingman Antoinette Bannister (178-93, college: E.Carolina, currently plays in Portugal). Bannister contributed to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams CAD Coimbra (2-7) crushing them 82-62 in the Portuguese Liga Feminina on Sunday night. She recorded 12 points, 4 assists and 4 steals in 29 minutes. Carnide Clube/Holos (6-4) is placed fifth in the Liga Feminina. It's Bannister's first season with the team. Bannister has relatively good stats this year: 10.5ppg, 2.9rpg, 1.5apg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 53.8%, 3FGP: 34.1% and FT: 87.5% in 10 games. She played for the Jamaican national team one years ago.

   #4. Center Ladonna Lamonth (185-90, currently plays in Canada) contributed to a Concordia University's victory against the Citadins (2-3) 64-53 in a derby game in the U Sports in Saturday night's game. Lamonth scored 6 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. The Concordia University has 4-1 record this season. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. Lamonth's overall stats this season are: 5.2ppg and 9.8rpg. She is also Jamaican national team player.
