We bring you last week's top performances from Jamaicans who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

   #1. This week's number one is an experienced former international shooting guard Akeem Scott (185-83, college: High Point, currently plays in Mexico). Scott led Venados to a victory over the second-ranked Caballeros de Culiacan (11-7) 89-72 in the Mexican CIBACOPA last Friday. He was MVP of the game. Scott recorded a double-double by scoring 28 points and making 12 passes. He also added 8 rebounds and 4 steals. Venados de Mazatlan (9-10) is placed sixth in the CIBACOPA. Scott has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 22.5ppg, 6.4rpg, 6.8apg, 3.2spg, 2FGP: 62.3%(76-122), 3FGP: 34.8% and FT: 84.0%. Scott is a naturalized American. Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball. He played for the Jamaican senior national team five years ago.

   #2. Second place goes to former international center Jerome Jordan (215-86, college: Tulsa, currently plays in Spain). Jordan was the major contributor in Andorra's victory against the closely-ranked Blusens Monbus (11-18) 91-72 in the Spanish Liga Endesa on Sunday night. He scored 16 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 24 minutes. MoraBanc Andorra (15-16) is placed tenth in the Liga Endesa. They ended the series of four consecutive loses. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Jordan's first season with the team. This year Jordan's overall stats are: 7.0ppg, 2.7rpg, 2FGP: 50.8% and FT: 66.1% in 15 games he played so far. He played for the Jamaican national team in 2014.

The Jamaican player who performed third best last week abroad was former international point guard Dylan Ennis (187-91, agency: BeoBasket, college: Oregon, currently plays in Spain) is a teammate of previously mentioned Jerome Jordan and both played together in the last Spanish Liga Endesa game. Ennis was the main contributor in Andorra's victory against the closely-ranked Blusens Monbus (11-18) 91-72. He was the best player in that game. Ennis scored 16 points and added 3 passes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. Ennis has relatively good stats this year: 13.8ppg, 3.0rpg, 2.7apg, 2FGP: 48.9%, 3FGP: 35.7% and FT: 77.2%. He has a dual citizenship: Canadian and Jamaican. Ennis played for the Jamaican national team five years ago.

Small forward Ricardo Alliman (201-87, college: Cedarville, currently plays in France) managed to help BC Orchies in a victory against the sixth-ranked Vendee Challans (8-9) 72-55 in the French NM1 (third division) in Saturday night's game. He scored 5 points, had 8 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 26 minutes. BC Orchies (7-10) is placed eighth in Places 1-10 group. Alliman's team will play only one more game in the Second Stage. This year Alliman has relatively solid stats: 14.0ppg, 6.8rpg and 1.2apg in 35 games. Alliman attended previously one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball. He used to play for the Jamaican national team back in 2014.

Former international center Vashil Fernandez (208-92, college: Valpo, currently plays in Spain) contributed to Marin's victory against the tenth-ranked Azuqueca (13-20) 81-75 in the Spanish LEB Silver (third division) on Saturday night. Fernandez had a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 4 blocks in 25 minutes. Marin PeixeGalego (18-15) is placed third in West group. Fernandez's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. This year Fernandez's total stats are: 8.8ppg, 6.6rpg and 2.3bpg in 30 games. He is a naturalized American. Fernandez used to play for the Jamaican national team five years ago.

Swingman Weyinmi Rose (196-86, college: Providence, currently plays in Puerto Rico) contributed to a 2-point Leones' victory against the closely-ranked Capitanes (13-13) 104-102 in the Puerto Rican BSN on Wednesday night. He scored only 2 points. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Leones de Ponce (12-10) is placed fourth in the BSN. Rose has averaged so far 3.9ppg, 1.3rpg and 1.8apg. He is a former international player as he played for the Jamaican senior team five years ago.

   #1. Experienced Dane Johnson (208-C-86, college: Hofstra, currently plays in Mexico) could not help Caballeros de Culiacan (11-7) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Caballeros de Culiacan was badly defeated 89-72 on the road by the lower-ranked (#6) Venados. Johnson had a double-double by scoring 25 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 3 assists and 2 blocks in 35 minutes. Johnson has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 15.9ppg, 11.2rpg and 2.4apg in 18 games he played so far. Johnson is a naturalized American.

   #2. Sek Henry (193-G-87, college: Nebraska, currently plays in Turkey) was not able to help one of league's weakest teams Pinar Karsiyaka (15-3) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Pinar Karsiyaka was crushed 96-66 at home by the leading Anadolu Efes. Henry was the top scorer with 18 points. He also added made 3 passes and 3 steals in 29 minutes. The Regular Season already ended. This year Henry has relatively solid stats: 13.8ppg, 2.8rpg and 4.4apg in 26 games. He is a naturalized American.

   #3. Brynton Lemar (193-G-95, college: UC Davis, currently plays in Hungary) was not able to secure a victory for Sopron KC (16-17) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Lemar's very good performance the third-placed Sopron KC (16-17) was defeated 119-112 in Paks by the second-ranked Atomeromu in the Places 6-10 group. He recorded a double-double by scoring 32 points and getting 10 rebounds. Lemar also added 5 assists. His team will play only one more game in the Second Stage. And that game will be critical. This season Lemar has very high stats. He averages: 18.8ppg, 3.5rpg, 3.3apg and 1.1spg. Lemar is a naturalized American.

   #4. Kyle Hunt (208-F/C-89, college: USAO, currently plays in Spain) couldn't help UCAM Murcia (8-21) in their game against Real Madrid (24-5) in the Spanish Liga Endesa. He scored 9 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in only 14 minutes. But the bottom-ranked UCAM Murcia was edged 82-80 on their home court in Murcia by the leading Real Madrid. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. This year Hunt's total stats are: 6.0ppg and 6.0rpg in three games. He is a naturalized American.

   #5. Ryan Rhoomes (203-C-92, agency: Duran International, college: Fordham, currently plays in France) couldn't help Saint-Quentin (10-8) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Rhoomes' very good performance the third-placed Saint-Quentin (10-8) was edged 83-80 in Bordeaux by the lower-ranked JSA Bordeaux (#5) in the Places 1-10 group. He was the top scorer with 21 points. Rhoomes also added 8 rebounds. His team will play only one more game in the Second Stage. And now that game is quite important. This season Rhoomes has very high stats. He averages: 15.7ppg, 7.4rpg and 1.4apg. Rhoomes is a naturalized American.

   #6. Ryan Martin (206-F-91, college: Tenn Tech, currently plays in Denmark) led Bakken to a victory over the seventh-ranked Horsens IC 91-86 in the Danish BasketLigaen on Thursday night. He was the top player that evening. Martin recorded 15 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in a mere 16 minutes. This year Martin has relatively solid stats: 12.6ppg, 5.4rpg and 1.4apg in 25 games. He has a dual citizenship: Jamaican and British. Despite Martin's Jamaican passport, he previously played for the British U20 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Jamaican team.

   #7. Shevon Thompson (213-C-93, college: GMU, currently plays in Belgium) was the major contributor in Oostende's victory against the sixth-ranked Limburg United crushing them 95-70 in the Belgian Euromillions League in Sunday night's game. Thompson scored 12 points. This season Thompson has relatively solid stats: 14.6ppg and 6.6rpg.

   #8. Staphon Blair (206-F-93, college: Cent Florida, currently plays in Portugal) contributed to Illiabum's victory against the sixth-ranked Imortal 98-86 in the Portuguese LPB last Wednesday. He had a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting the same number of rebounds. Blair also added 2 blocks in 34 minutes. This year Blair has relatively solid stats: 13.1ppg and 9.6rpg in 32 games. He is a naturalized American.

   #9. Clint Robinson (203-F/C-94, college: UIC, currently plays in Portugal) couldn't help Esgueira / Oli (13-19) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Robinson's good performance the second-placed Esgueira / Oli was edged 76-73 on the opponent's court by the lower-ranked Galitos-Barreiro (#5) in the Places 7-12 group. He recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting 21 rebounds (made all of his six free throws). This season Robinson has relatively solid stats: 11.5ppg, 10.9rpg and 1.6bpg.

   #10. Brandon McLean (201-C-95, college: Huntingdon, currently plays in Romania) couldn't help Constanta (1-9) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the fifth-placed Constanta was edged 94-92 in Mures by the leading Targu in the Group Yellow. McLean scored 17 points and grabbed 9 rebounds (went 5 for 5 at the free throw line) in 33 minutes. This year McLean's total stats are: 4.4ppg and 4.7rpg in 17 games. He is a naturalized American.
