The list of other players, who all have Jamaican passport but never been selected to any of Jamaican national teams: #1. Shevon Thompson (213-C-93, college: GMU, currently plays in Basketball Champions League) led his Belgian team Oostende to a victory against the closely-ranked La ICL Manresa (7-6) 85-72 in the Basketball Champions League in Tuesday night's game. He had a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting 12 rebounds. Thompson also added 3 blocks in 36 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Filou Oostende (7-6) is placed fourth in the Basketball Champions League. His team will play only one more game in the Basketball Champions League Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Thompson has relatively good stats this year: 13.5ppg and 10.1rpg in 13 games he played so far. #2. Devin Johnson (196-F-94, college: Toronto, currently plays in Belarus) led COR-Borisfen to a victory over the sixth-ranked Tsmoki II (4-13) crushing them 107-54 in the Belarusian Premier League last Saturday. He was MVP of the game. Johnson recorded 26 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 4 assists; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. COR-Borisfen Mogilev (16-1) is placed first in Places 1-6 group. It was his team's eighth consecutive victory in a row. Johnson has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 19.2ppg, 3.7rpg, 1.4apg and 1.6spg. Johnson has a dual citizenship: Jamaican and Canadian. #3. Jarred Ogungbemi-Jackson (178-PG-91, college: Calgary, currently plays in Finland) was the main contributor in Kataja's victory against the ninth-ranked Ura Basket (10-17) crushing them 102-81 in the Finnish Korisliiga in Tuesday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Ogungbemi-Jackson scored 26 points (!!!), grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 7 assists. Joensuun Kataja Basket (6-5) is placed fourth in the Korisliiga. This season Ogungbemi-Jackson has very high stats. He averages: 18.3ppg, 5.7rpg, 6.1apg and 1.2spg. Ogungbemi-Jackson is another player who holds two passports: Jamaican and Canadian. Despite his Jamaican nationality, Ogungbemi-Jackson previously played for the Canadian university national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Jamaican team. #4. Brynton Lemar (193-G-95, college: UC Davis, currently plays in Poland) contributed to Start's victory against one of league's weakest teams MKS Dabrowa Gornicza (4-14) 74-66 in the Polish EBL last Sunday. He scored 11 points, had 5 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 27 minutes. TBV Start Lublin (13-5) is placed third in the EBL. It's Lemar's first season with the team. Lemar has very impressive stats this year: 15.8ppg, 4.2rpg and 4.0apg in 18 games. He is a naturalized American. #5. Experienced Torin Francis (209-C-83, college: Notre Dame, currently plays in Argentina) could not help the league outsider La Union in their last game on Sunday. Despite Francis' good performance La Union was defeated 97-82 on the road by the lower-ranked Penarol (#8). He recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and getting 12 rebounds. It's Francis' first season with the team. This year Francis has relatively solid stats: 12.2ppg and 8.9rpg. He is a naturalized American. #6. Nicholas Richards (212-C-97, currently plays college basketball in the States) contributed to a 2-point Kentucky's victory against the Texas Tech University 76-74 in the NCAA in Saturday night's game. Richards had a double-double by scoring 25 points and getting 14 rebounds. He also added 4 blocks in 39 minutes. This year Richards has relatively solid stats: 14.4ppg, 8.3rpg and 2.4bpg in 20 games. #7. Tyran De Lattibeaudiere (201-SF-91, college: Lamar, currently plays in France) contributed to a Denain Voltaire's victory against the league leader ADA Blois 95-85 in the French ProB (second division) last Sunday. He recorded 15 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals. This season De Lattibeaudiere has very high stats. He averages: 15.3ppg, 6.5rpg, 2.3apg, 1.3bpg and 1.5spg. #8. Kyle Hunt (208-F/C-89, college: USAO, currently plays in Spain) helped UCAM Murcia win their game against the league outsider Baloncesto Fuenlabrada crushing them 94-71 in the Spanish Liga Endesa on Saturday night. Jahmal Jones (183-PG-91, college: Ryerson, currently plays in Denmark) was the major contributor in Naestved's victory against the leader Wolfpack 87-68 in the Danish BasketLigaen in Saturday night's game. He scored 20 points and added 3 passes. This season Jones averages: 8.6ppg, 4.3rpg, 5.0apg and 1.8spg. He has both Canadian and Jamaican nationalities. #10. T.J.
