Al Khor lands Quintrell Thomas

Al Khor (D1) tabbed 30-year old American (has also Jamaican passport) power forward Quintrell Thomas (203-111kg-90, college: UNLV). He played most recently at Elitzur Kiryat Ata in Israeli National League. In 22 games he averaged impressive 18.2ppg, 12.1rpg and 1.2apg last season. He was also selected League Player of the Week.
The previous (18-19) season Thomas played at Hasharon (also in National League) where in 30 games he was league's second best scorer with remarkable 23.5ppg and recorded 12.1rpg (leader !!!) and 1.1apg. He can count that season as a very successful as was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Israeli National League Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week.
Thomas is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life on four different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, African and of course North American leagues. Thomas has played previously professionally in Portugal (Oliveirense), Saudi Arabia (Al Hilal and Al Ittihad), Ukraine (Kirovograd) and Angola (Interclube).
Among many awards he received Eurobasket.com All-Ukrainian Higher League Player of the Year award and Eurobasket.com All-Ukrainian Higher League Import Player of the Year award back in 2014.
He attended University of Nevada - Las Vegas until 2013 and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball.
