Vanessa Gidden joins Zamarat

Quesos el Pastor Zamarat (Liga Dia) agreed terms with experienced 35-year old Jamaican ex-international forward Vanessa Gidden (192-85, college: Hofstra). She has played for the last three seasons at Promete. In 22 Liga Dia games in Spain she had 11.1ppg, 8.7rpg (leader !!!) and 1.5apg last season. Gidden was a member of Jamaican Senior National Team between 2007 and 2013.
She is quite experienced player. Gidden has played also professionally in Finland (HoNsU), Israel (Ramla and Petah Tikva), Italy (Alcamo), Poland, Romania, Turkey and WNBA (Minnesota Lynx) and Spain (Perfumerias Avenida, Argon Uni Girona and Araski).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Gidden won Spanish LF2 championship title in 2019. She was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LF2 Co-Import Player of the Year and Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LF2 Forward of the Year in 2019.
She attended Hofstra University until 2007 and it will be her 14th (!!!) season as a professional player.
