Janelle Bailey left Clarinos

22-year old American (has also Jamaican passport) power forward Janelle Bailey (193cm-99, college: UNC) left CDB Clarinos Tenerife (LF Endesa). In 12 games she had 6.8ppg and 4.2rpg this season. Bailey helped them to make it to the Supercup semifinals. She also played 4 games in Eurocup where she recorded 7.0ppg, 4.8rpg and 1.3apg.
Bailey just graduated from University of North Carolina and it is her first season as a pro.
She represented Jamaica at the World Championships U17 in Zaragoza (Spain) five years ago. Her team won Bronze and her stats at that event were 7 games: 9.3ppg, 9.1rpg, FGP: 40.0%, FT: 85.0%.
Bailey could be described: All-American. A force on the block as well as a strong mid-range player who is able to drive to the basket. She can face up and has a sweet mid-range that is a lost art. Bailey finishes well in traffic, great at retaining and utilizing the scouting report plays on both ends of the court, and is a defensive threat in the post. Can hit the 3-pointer and can create in transition.
