Sharks keep Gill for another season

Southland-Sharks (NBL) re-signed 28-year old Jamaican 218cm center Romaro Gill (college: Seton Hall). In 18 games last season he averaged 5.7ppg, 6.3rpg and 2.7bpg. In the 2021-22 season he played at Raptors 905 in U.S. NBA-G-League where in 19 games he had 3.7ppg, 4.1rpg and 1.5bpg.
He is a very experienced player. Gill has played also professionally in other USA team, NBA (Utah Jazz), NBA G League (SLC Stars) and NBA Summer League (LA Lakers and LA Lakers). He won NJCAA D1 District XVI championship title in 2016 and 2017.
Among many awards he received All-Big East Most Improved Player of the Year award and All-Big East Defensive Player of the Year award back in 2020.
Gill graduated from Seton Hall University in 2020 and it will be his fourth season in pro basketball.
