President of the Jamaica Basketball Association Paulton Gordon believes players will be ready when the National Basketball League (NBL) resumes in the final week of May after a 3 year absence due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Gordon explained that despite the long layoff from top level competitive basketball, some players have been able to stay active
The competition will begin in the final week of May following the conclusion of the Southern Conference League with games to be played primarily at the National Stadium Court and the Montego Bay Cricket Club.
However for inclusivity, Gordon says they are also looking to have matches in St Ann and Manchester. Gordon was speaking on Hitz 92 FM's Sports Grill on Thursday.
